Everything you always wanted to know about White Privilege, but were afraid to ask.
Start Date: 4/19/2018Start Time: 2:00 PM
End Date: 4/19/2018End Time: 3:30 PM

Event Description:
You've heard the term, but you're not sure what it means or how well it applies to your own life. You've heard people say there's no such thing, and you've heard people say that it's everywhere. You want to be able to think about it--and deal with your emotional response to it--but where do you start? This workshop might be just what you're looking for.

In this workshop, participants will use open discussion and private writing to work through their own understanding of White Privilege. We will discuss the history of the term, as well as its uses and limits for understanding modern racism.
