Is Western Medicine Harmful to Patients? Reflections by Dr. James Bell, M.D.
Start Date: 3/28/2017Start Time: 12:30 PM
End Date: 3/28/2017End Time: 2:00 PM

Event Description:
Drawing upon over 35 years experience in the medical profession, as a Family Physician (both in Canada and in the United States) and a lab technician conducting pharmaceutical research (for an additional two years), I will endeavor to answer a critical question: “Is Western Medicine Harmful to Patients?”
This presentation will examine the last fifty years (the “golden age”) of western medicine, focusing in such areas as the Germ Theory, Drug Addiction, Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment, Genetics, Coronary Artery Disease, and Mental Health. Is modern western medicine, as practiced in the US, truly helpful, or detrimental to the health of our patients?
